My Favorite Yahoo

I’ve been a Yahoo! for more than a year now.

Totally loving it. (And I find myself yodeling a lot more than I ever used to,which is a very good thing.)

In the past year, I’ve got to meet all kinds of awesome Yahoos.

Those involved in Yahoo! for Good programs are stand-outs.

I’ve been in the same room as Yahoo! co-founder David Filo. He came to my boss’ boss’ all-hands and gave a short talk a couple quarters back.

And I’ve been in the same hall with Yahoo! co-founder Jerry Yang many times. But I’ve never made eye-contact or said anything because you guys know how the hot shot techno celebs intimidate me.

(his office is on the same floor as my boss’ and my teammates… and that’s the building/floor I work from when I’m in Sunnyvale.)

But I’d like to introduce you to my all-time favorite Yahoo.

When it comes to Jeremy, there are two words you need to know: Rock Star.

(I recognize that rockstar is technically one word but we’re turning it into two to give it more empahsis and make it extra special because that’s approprite in these circumstances.)

There are so many reasons to love Jeremy.

(Indeed I got to spend the day at circus training camp with him recently but that’s a whole ‘nother story.)

I won’t go on and on because I know these kinds of public displays of affection make you want to avert your gaze, dear reader.

But before I stop, here’s just another one.
